The Urban Entrepreneur Partnership (UEP) believes in the entrepreneurial spirit. We believe it can unleash imagination, create opportunities, reinvent the market, rebuild communities, and transform the world.

UEP on the Suncoast is a partnership between Suncoast Community Capital and the UEP, a program of the Kauffman Foundation, established to support entrepreneurs in Florida’s Sarasota and Manatee counties.

The UEP is a premium business solution, distinguished by a unique and innovative one-to-one business coaching model designed to produce rapid return on investment. Our mission is to deliver world-class coaching in a cost-effective manner that assists the client in adjusting quickly to a fluid marketplace.

You are eligible to apply if you:

  • have an idea for a business, or
  • already operate a for-profit or nonprofit business, excluding religious or political organizations.

We seek entrepreneurs who are eager to expand and create jobs for our community. Entrepreneurs with existing businesses or ideas in any industry may apply.  If you meet these requirements and need the expertise to start or grow your business, we’re here to help with a unique one-to-one personalized coaching program.
